The Yellow Springs Community Foundation funds grants for programs and projects that enrich the well-being of persons of all ages and walks of life who live or work in the Village of Yellow Springs or Miami Township in Greene County, Ohio. We welcome grant applications from people who feel their project meets this goal.
All grant applications are considered first by our Grants Review Committee, which then makes a recommendation to the Board of Trustees for their approval.
The usual cycle of events is that the Grants Review Committee meets the first or second week of the month, and the Trustees meet the third or fourth week of the month.
Proposals will be considered in the month following their submission. No funds will be committed until after your grant has received positive support by the Board of Trustees.
If the project you are undertaking is a time-sensitive one, it is essential that you provide your request to YSCF in a timely fashion. While we try to be responsive to requests, your project has a greater chance of being funded if you allow us time to follow our procedure.
